Where did this lass come from? Who is she? What is she?

JUST WHO IS THIS EMMA WEBB GIRL?

Babes, I’m Emma Webb, 29, born and raised on a proper council estate in Basildon, Essex, and now living my beautifully chaotic life in a tiny, messy flat in Hackney, East London. By day I’m an internet journalist and full-time professional hot-take merchant, churning out viral threads for progressive outlets like Novara Media, The Canary, HuffPost UK and the occasional Guardian piece.

I take complex left-wing theory, intersectional feminism and late-stage capitalism and turn it into shareable, slightly sweary, punchy content that lands with people before they’ve even finished their morning flat white. I run my Substack Emma’s Coven, where the real, unfiltered, diary-style writing lives, long, rambling, late-night journals about emotional labour, toxic men, the pleasure gap, the mental load we all carry, and every single way the patriarchy still manages to wind me up on a daily basis.

Then there’s the modelling side of me that somehow snuck in and became a whole thing: those cosy, no-filter photoshoots that capture the real me, cross-legged on the rug in oversized crazy costumes, barefootand that's on a normal day, wavy dark brown hair in a messy bun that’s always one second from falling down, black-framed glasses perched on my big nose, and that big, cheeky Essex grin that somehow makes the whole “angry feminist” thing feel approachable.
